Cheap Computers
OK, so you wonder where to begin. What you need to do is to decide how much money you are willing to spend. After you have an approximate number you should start scouring the internet for the cheap parts.
Remember not to rush, but to do some research if you really want to save good money.
And don't worry, even the computer you have built your self will have a warranty. Each part that you buy should have at least one year warranty, so should the part go bad, you can easily replace it within the warranty period. SO basically you get the same warranty as if you have built the whole computer your self.
After you have built the computer you will need to install a windows XP on it. This is very easy, and is much easier than building the computer. Just insert the disk, and follow the instructions. It's that easy.
Good start would be to buy a barebone kit, if you are afraid to start completely from scratch. Basically barebones kit is a computer case with some or all components already included inside. Barebone kits vary and some include almost the whole computer, with the exception of monitor or any other external parts. The most common barebone kits come with the case, power supply, motherboard and CPU. And this would be my recommendation if you decide to get a barebone kit. After that, you can buy additional components and easily connect them. Even this way you will learn a lot about building a computer because you will have to open up the case when connecting additional parts. But as always, make sure that the motherboard included in the barebone kit is compatible with all additional parts you are planning to buy, such as memory, graphic card, hard disk, etc.
Nice, huh?
